Channel Islands Harbor is in Oxnard. Ventura Harbor is a separate harbor in Ventura. Check the exact departure address on boat reservations and the location on any event listing.
How are the Christmas boat parades different?
In 2026, Channel Islands Harbor’s Oxnard parade is December 12, while Ventura Harbor’s parade is December 18–19. The Winter 2026–2027 edition links both events and their current organizer information.
Can I bring my dog to Silver Strand or Hollywood Beach?
The City’s published guidance lists leashed dogs before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m. at these beaches. Check current posted rules before visiting. Oxnard Beach Park is another option for a leashed walk during the day.
What can we do on a rainy day in Oxnard?

Is this the official Oxnard tourism site?
No. Explore Oxnard is independently published by Chic Beach Vacations, a family-owned vacation-rental business. It is independent of the City and official tourism organization, and identifies its own accommodation listings.
Which edition will match my trip?
